HOW IT STARTED

Meet the artist: Bithia Dantoumda

Bithia is a soon to be recipient of a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin. Her artistic focuses are 2-D drawing, digital illustration and painting.  

 Originally founding 'Creative Days Art' in high school to afford going on school trips and paying club fees, it has grown to give her opportunities that she otherwise could have never imagined.   

Her latest involvements include being contracted by Freeform to create artwork for the TV show "Grown-ish" as well as being a part of a Art Fellowship with the Move Texas organization - a nonpartisan, non-profit grassroots organization working to ensure youth voices are heard and considered in the policy making process
